Savannah native Luke Baham, 19 was known for leaving players banged up on the field as the unstoppable sixth grade football phenom. Now he may be known as a heartless hitting machine with no remorse for ruthlessly sending a mere child to the hospital during a middle school game. With the ever increasing concern for player safety and head protection, one cannot help but question Baham's disregard for human life.

"He just stood over him until the ambulance arrived." reported Cassidy Quinn, older sister of victim child, Tyler Quinn. "The whole crowd was cheering while I couldn't stop crying... I thought my little brother was dead!"

"No, the child did not die, but he might as well have..." stated Quinn family in-house doctor Xavier Hargrove. "His quality of life diminishes gradually each day as his mentality cannot seem to shake off the hit. He can rarely leave the room without seeing Baham sprinting towards him. He cannot sleep without reliving the play in his dreams. Whether asleep or awake, Tyler is always screaming."

Tyler Quinn, now 19, can barely function as a human adult and his parents want justice. "Luke Baham killed my child. I can't hold him, I can't talk to him... I can't even know him. And that Baham kid doesn't even care... but he will." - Rian Quinn, father.

The Quinn's plan to sue not only Mr. Baham, but also his school and the referees officiating the game. We attempted to contact Baham, but has not answered. However, anonymous sources claim that when asked about the hit, now referred to as "The Slaughter" Luke said, "Lol."

More details to follow as they become available.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
