Earlier today ex Churchland High Grad Rodney "Bam Bam" Jones received the phone call he's been waiting on his entire life. His dream of playing in the NFL was about to become a reality as The Philadelphia Eagles reached out to him offering him a shot to play professional football. Sources say the defensive tackle got offered a 2 year deal worth 4.9 million dollars, 2 million guaranteed.
Jones is excited to start his new career venture, trading in his steel toe boots for an opportunity to play behind veterans such as Fletcher Cox and Benny Logan. Jones has been playing semi professional football for the past two years for the Virginia Swarm, and has shined for the program ever since he's stepped on the field totaling over 150 tackles and 20 plus sacks in his short stint with the team. We wish u the best of luck Mr. Jones.
