Born and raised in a place locals like to call chocolate city (DMV) G Statuz was surrounded by a very strong presence of creative musical influences such as GO GO music's on Chuck Brown , Junk Yard Band, and Mambo Sauce. With out a doubt G Statuz became a product of his environment and got into music at a early age. A few years later after starting his new found dream of becoming a rapper G Statuz moved to NC for unknown reasons . There he graduated high school and life seemed to be going all to well but little that he know things were about to go from milk and honey to sour cream. Life at home was very rocky for G Statuz which led him to being kicked out and neglected by his family. He moved to Raleigh NC and linked up with his cousin Chris who was also in to music that automatically opened up a new chapter in his career and a life of crime. For the next few year G Statuz life looked as if it was going on a one way path to the penitentiary but one day everything that he knew of had changed. He got back in contact with a child hood friend he met back in high school on a popular social networking site that led him to Atlanta GA we're everything seemed to good to be true, and good it was but it didn't stay good for long. After months of much wasted time dealing with 360 relationships with crooked industry moguls G Statuz gave up on following his dream and moved back to NC and started a family of his on with his long term girl friend Gaby. And right when he thought it was all over he got a call from LA Reid that landed him a multi million dollar deal that changed him and his family's life's for ever.

    whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
