IT CAN NOW BE REVEALED that Blackpool based children's entertainers Grandaddy & Nanny Trumbell have been chosen to appear at Buckingham Palace in London to entertain younger members of the royal family during next year's Summer holidays.
A palace spokesman has confirmed that the Blackpool duo were the first choice for the royal youngsters after they spotted them on a television show about children's entertainers "the children saw them on tv and immediately asked their grandmother (HRH Queen Elizabeth) if she could get Grandaddy & Nanny Trumbell for their junior Summer garden party" said a spokesman from the royal household.
"We got the call out of the blue" said a smiling Nanny Trumbell, "I asked Grandaddy to check our diary and the date was available" she added.
Grandaddy & Nanny Trumbell still have a few dates available if you want your prince or princess to be entertained. "It's just a £10 deposit and we can get them in the diary for an available date" explained Grandaddy Trumbell, "though weekend dates do get booked up very fast so do not leave it too late or you could be disappointed" he added.
We asked Grandaddy & Nanny Trumbell what they would be doing at the parties, "comedy magic, slapstick comedy, party games, music, balloon models, and of course lollipops for any child that is allowed to have them" explained the comedy duo.
"We wear just a little make up so the vast majority of children, even toddlers, feel comfortable when we are around" said Grandaddy Trumbell, "the reviews on our facebook page say it all, just page after page of 5 stars with comments that would make any entertainer proud" he added.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
