STAMFORD — A 20 year-old man was shot in the shoulder Thursday night on the city’s South Side, but has refused to tell police what happened.

Police said the incident happened about 1 AM on Rye Ridge Street. When Timithy Planes, Police said the victim stated "When i realized I was being shot at, I got behind the ledge and started busting at them n*****s." Police have recovered one handgun at the crime schene and numerous shell casings.


Police said the Man refused to provide more information. He was taken to Stamford Hospital where he was treated and released.

“It’s hard to have a idea on why this happend,” Officer said. “Other people in the area who were interviewed said they did not see or hear anything.
