The 6 foot 1 215 pound running back Benjamin Bekavac out of St.petersburg Florida has landed Offers from the Florida Gators, Michigan, Maryland , Boston college, Miami, USF, UCLA . After graduating from northeast Ben (prefers to be called that for short ) didn't know what he was gonna do with life after highschool. " I was stuck in bad spot I had a lot going on after I graduated I didn't even know if I was gonna have a job or not " said Ben Bekavac . When I asked how he had handled with the thought of not possibly having a future he said " everyone counted me out my parents friends so I decided that I needed a change and that change was going to play football anywhere they would take on a team all I needed was one chance ". That change came when Ben came across a college named "Trinity College" . " when I stepped onto this college I knew I was gonna do big things for the college." Coach Jeff Devanney who's entering his 11th season with the team said this " Ben is a special talent the moment he stepped on campus he came to and told me I'm gonna be your running back and you're gonna like it . In my head I'm thinking this kid has guts so we gave him his shot . The 1st time he got the ball he took it 95 yards for a touchdown breaking 5 tackles I looked over to the other coaches our faces shocked . Kid has a motor he reminds me a lot of Levon bell of the steelers and David Johnson of the Arizona cardinals ". As many people can see the hype in this kid like the head coach said he has motor but comparing him to two of the NFL's best I had to see for myself with my own eyes . So I saw it last Saturday 27 touches 255 yards rushing 3 touchdowns 6 receptions 90 yards 2 touchdowns . Ben never played football in high school he said that he tried once and gave up and then tried again but his gpa kept him back . But how does a kid that goes unnoticed like him get no attention it's really simple . Ben asked Trinty team not to post his stats photos or even list him on the teams website why you ask ? He had one simple answer " if you didn't know my name when I was a no body you won't know it now " trinity and 24/7 sports said okay we won't. So now you know college footballs best kept secret is out but he still doesn't want to be in the spotlight just yet . So now we have 19 year old talented kid who was born in Germany come to the United States and be possible the nations best running back this is a story that Hollywood it self couldn't have scripted . One of the last questions we had for Ben was a 2 part question . The 1st one was what motivates you he said " what motivates me is people that left my life, people that counted me out I do it for my family I do it for my teammates and I do it for the name on the back of my jersey . They haven't felt my pain yet they haven't seen my tears, they haven't been thru what I've been thru I had to snatch this oppturinty , now you 3 short years take you pen and paper out and quote me on this , when everyone is in church praying to god I'll be going to war with my brothers on sundays in the NFL and no one will tell me I can't I'm the best and I believe that big time players make big time plays in big time games ." The 2nd question to Ben was you're getting a lot of offers from big time colleges you don't want them to be known about your name due to the fact that you wanna shock people but come on let us in on your little secret do you have your mind made up yet on which college you wanna attend for the 2017 season ? "Yes I do " what college is it ? (Smiles and laughs ) " I hear that snoop dogg is a big USC fan I wonder how he would feel when he sees UCLA crush USC " SO ITS UCLA!! I shouted !! ( he smiles)" and says fasten your seatbelts I'm going to UCLA " I asked him why UCLA he said " why not ?" So I told him they'll have to put your stats and your picture on the website and team programs he said I already told them "I'm coming it's under my rules they agreed so that won't be happening " that was the end of the interview this kid has he mindset of a winner when I asked him earlier you're a Gators fan why not them he said " I'm not coming back Florida ever again I'm moved on from that state they should do the same (college teams ) . Bens stats on the season include 200 carries 1944 yards 17 touchdowns rushing 33 receptions 411 yards receiving 6 touchdowns this is thru 8 games Trinity is 7-1 on the season and looking like they will win the conference title.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
