North Smithfield, R.I. After last weeks huge win over Italia, the Swamp Donkeys (5-0-0) will face another tough opponent, Rage (5-0-0) tonight at the RI Sports Center at 9:20. This will be the first matchup of the season for these two undefeated teams and it's shaping up to be one of the best games of the season. The Swamp Donkeys have not lost a game in over 4 months going back to last season, but they know that they cannot take Rage for granted. "Yeah, they have a good team over there, no question about it" said Donkeys Alternate Captain Ian Dinges. "We'll be ready though, we always are. The boys are ready to go."
There is some unfortunate news out of the Swamp Donkeys lover room, however. Rumors have it that Goaltender and Captain Jared Bebeau has sustained some sort of lower body injury during the teams morning skate. This has not yet been confirmed by team officials, and when Coach Rob Mainville was asked about the injury, he had no comments and said it was he first he's heard of an injury. This will be something to keep an eye on as we get closer to puck drop. Bebeau's absense would be a significant blow for the team as he has been one of the leagues best goalies so far. Either way, the game will go on, and it is one that you do not want to miss.

Tonight's Lineups:
A-Line:
E. Breault-Lapierre-Dinges

B-Line:
Taddeo-N. Jones-M. Jones

Floater: Hopkins

Defense:
Hanley-Lafond
J. Breault-Chris

Goal:
Bebeau (Q)

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
