A Massachusetts woman is being investigated tonight after filing what is now believed to be a false claim with her car insurance provider. Dawn Robidoux, of Fall River, Massachusetts was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident on July 7th 2016. Ms. Robidoux claims her vehicle was parked north facing on Seabury St. while she was shopping in a nearby health food store for flavored water, "the peach one" she added as she rolled her eyes at Channel 10 reporter Kathy Greene. Ms. Robidoux continued, "And like when I came out of the store, I'm a vegetarian by the way, my mirror was just smashed right off the car." The drivers side mirror was not recovered at the scene. No witnesses were present at the scene to corroborate Ms. Robidouxs story. When asked where she thought the mirror could be she mumbled "cross fit" and "gluten free" as she walked away.
A recent development has surfaced in the form of a facebook status update where Ms. Robidoux seemingly admits she WAS involved in a hit and run accident - where she was the perpetrator. A comment left by a Mr. Bender states 'you should have stayed at the scene' to which Ms. Robidoux replies, 'you were the one in the backseat yelling F the police.' Mr. Bender has been unavailable for comment, but State Deputy Thurgood Marshall states that his mother has been an insurance agent for 6 years so he does not take insurance fraud lightly. Ms. Robidoux faces up to 5 years imprisonment if found guilty.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
