Anthony Nwakaji (20) was arrested on Tuesday evening at his home in Dublin after a report was made to the Gardaí on Monday night regarding a sexual assault and attempted abduction of a 14 -year old teen (name withheld) in Corkagh Park, Dublin at approx. 22:10 on Monday night. It was reported that Anthony had been in contact with the teen through Snapchat for a number of days prior to Monday night.

"He [Anthony] texted me on snapchat last week and we started talking, he told me he was 17 and he went to Moyle Park, I had no idea he was 20", explained the teen to Gardaí in horror during the aftermath of the event on Monday night.

"He asked me for nudes and I sent him some because I seemed to really like him at the time, he was funny", stated the teen. But when they had agreed to meet up in the local park to go trick'or'treating on Halloween night, Anthony had other plans on his mind. He suggested that they took a "romantic" walk through a forest and during the promenade, he allegedly groped the teen and tried to drag her to a corner while inappropriately holding her private parts. She screeched for help but Anthony had seemed to perfectly plan the assault out so that they had reached an area of the park that was not open to the public. The teen though, managed to escape as she struck him to his private area and set off screaming and crying when she was eventually found by a group of young teenage boys she knew who took her home.

Following the arrest of Anthony Nwakaji (20), he has denied all charges even though explicit photos of the teen were found on his mobile phone.

He will appear for his court hearing on 28 March 2017.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
