Local car makes moves to get another 1972 Mustang Coupe and is rumored to have a 429 N-code laying around somewhere and friends aren't that surprised.

Local car guy and known car addict and autocross enthusiast Dustin Bowers offers up Strychnine for another 72 Mustang Coupe. It's been rumored he has a 429 N-code laying around that would fit nicely. His friends weren't surprised he'd trade Strychnine for a 72 Coupe as his addiction to autocross is commonly known in the car community his family tried to do a intervention but in a turn of events he out ran them in his current Mustang. The Bowers camp has been less then forthcoming on any poetential deal as it is believed that Mr. Bowers is a pessimist and expects anything that can go wrong does go wrong. He was quoted as saying " it'll be like the same car but different , you know what I'm saying" Other sources say he will be looking for a driver for the 20th PPG Nationals this coming July. Not many agree it's a good trade but Bowers was quoted as saying in a somewhat starry eyed statement "but...Racecar" a few sources where reluctant to believe that he could build something that resembled a car in 4 month span, to which he replied "hey F you guys".
Strychnine will be missed locally I'm sure but Racecar. Sure he can never get another 60 like that one but Racecar. Sure it's worth blah blah blah but Racecar.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
