Police Arrest Male for Armed Robbery

Worcester, MA (November 2 , 2016) - On wednsday, November 2, 2016 at 4:20 PM, Worcester Police responded to the Honey Farms located at 306 Belmont Street for a report of an Armed Robbery which had just occurred. Prior to arrival of police, dispatch informed responding officers that the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle and a witness to the robbery was following the suspect. Dispatch informed officers that the suspect was now driving on Plantation Street towards 290. Officers responded to the area and were able to stop the suspect vehicle on the 290 westbound ramp. Police identified the driver as alexander Paulino aka "goldo" 21 years old of 15 puritan av, Worcester, Ma.

While police detained alexander other officers responded to the Honey Farms to speak with the victim. Police were informed by the store clerk that a white male with a beard wearing a dark sweatshirt and a hat had entered the store, jumped up on the counter, and began demanding money. The clerk stated that the suspect was holding a knife in his hand at this time. The suspect reached into the register, grabbed an amount of currency, and fled the area. A witness who was in the parking lot observed the male fleeing the scene and began following him while calling the police.

The victim was able to positively identify Alexander as the male who had robbed the store at knife point. Esmail was placed under arrest and is being charged with Armed Robbery. Members of the Detective Bureau arrived on scene to speak with witnesses. Crime Scene Unit personnel also responded to the scene of the motor vehicle stop and recovered evidence related to the robbery.

Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
