The young girl who has anonymously has been tipped to be Newton Aycliffe resident Lauren Rutherford was reported by one of the males who she offered herself to.
The victim reported to the police "She was asking me to do very inappropriate activities with her. She had what looked to be her student lanyard around her necked facing the other way. I instantly went to the college and from there to the police. I found it very disgusting and if my daughter ever done something like that I would be very upset".
Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form college had introduced student lanyards towards the end of March 2016 in hopes to raise security.
A spokesperson from the college stated "We are extremely upset one of our students could be involved in an act such as this. We will do everything in our power to make sure the responsible parents are notified as soon as possible".
A police spokesperson also came out and said "We have had an antonymous tip from a witnessing student that the girl in question is 16 year old Lauren Rutherford. When looking at the CCTV and the description of a 5 foot 3 inch girl with blonde hair and slightly chubby it seemed to match very accurately. We are awaiting the go ahead to contact the family for confirmation".
If anyone knows Lauren Rutherford please could you go straight to your local police station at the most convenient time.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
