Hammond man facing serious charges because of LIES!!!!

27 year old Raymond Prokes of Hammond Indiana has been facing numerous charges including child neglect and assault with a deadly weapon for over a year now. Last November a warrant was issued for Mr Prokes's arrest for the apparent misuse of a bb gun. Reports say that late September of 2015 he allegedly shot his son 4 year old Damian Prokes in the chest with a bb gun, but upon further digging we have found out that none of this may be true. Upon digging through reports we have found out that Raymond may have not even been in the state the night his son was injured. There are several mentions of Mr Prokes being in Chicago IL apparently doing a tattoo for Ross Romero, a friend/witness of Mr Prokes's that evidently Lake Countie's special victims unit have decided to ignore along with witnesses Kyle Boyer of Lake Station IN and Ashley Corbett of Crown Point IN. Reports say that even though Mr Prokes had witnesses to his whereabouts on the night his son was injured Lake Co detectives listened to Mrs Stricklin, Mr Prokes's wife who according to reports was the one who was actually home with the children on the night in question. Even though reports show that Mrs Stricklin has changed her story to police several times during there investigation detectives chose to believe Mrs Stricklin over Mr Prokes and his witnesses. A few days after the incident happened Mrs Stricklin moved out of Mr Prokes's house and moved in with her current boyfriend in Hobart In. Mrs Stricklin has since been granted the children who now live with her and her boyfriend. MR Prokes gets them every other weekend. Yet despite numerous claims of Mr Prokes being abusive to Mrs Stricklin and the children by Mrs Stricklin she now claims that she never said any of it. In fact in a private interview with Mrs Stricklin she now claims that she never told detectives that her husband shot their son. Instead she claims that she was in the bath tub and Mr Prokes was watching the children which we have since learned also isn't true. Acording to witnesses Ashley Corbett and Kyle Boyer they had picked up Mr Prokes at his home and had both said good night to two completely unharmed children and left to chicago with Mr Prokes. WHILE in Chicago Mr Prokes had received a call from Mrs Stricklin stating that he needed to get home and that there was an emergency with the children. In turn Mrs Corbett, Mr Boyer, and Mr Prokes left Chicago and drove back to Indiana. UPON arrival they found a screaming Damian and Mrs Stricklin claiming that he had fallen and stabbed himself in the chest with a nail. Upon seeing that the wound appeared to be superficial they cleaned it up and put a bandage on it. Mrs Corbett, Mr Romero, and Mr Boyer also claim that even though they were reported as witnesses and Mr Boyer had even gone in and talked to detectives they were completely ignored. Mr Prokes has pleaded not guilty and has been going to court for nearly a year with these charges against him. MRS Stricklin has gone to excessive lengths to make Mr Prokes look like an abusive person. Including rear ending the car he bought for her at high speed while it was parked and claiming he backed into her. MR Prokes is also facing charges of failure to repro an accident because of this I which his response was "how can I report her hitting her own car? The police would laugh at me" instead Mrs Stricklin not knowing that Mr Prokes had taken pictures of the damage and screen shots of him messaging her to come back before he called the police, she fled the scene and returned later to file a police report. Photo evidence provided by Mr Prokes shows that with where and how the car was parked there was no way he could have backed into her and caused as much damage as was caused and skid marks showed that the Jeep and indeed caused the accident. However once again local police believed Mrs Stricklin over Mr Prokes and the car was impounded the next day. MRS Stricklin who has made several claims with no proof of Mr Prokes's violence had even gone with him the following week to get the car out of impound. What we don't understand is if Mr Prokes is so violent why does she continue to let him see the children? Why has she helped him since the claims were filed? Something doesn't add up here and we plan on finding out exactly what it is!

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
