Conor Weldon of Maynooth Kilkenny campus has outlined his intentions of becoming president of the campus. He has till now kept his cards close to his chest, but this morning in an interview with Jack O'Reilly he expressed his interest in the vacancy.
"What we need in Kilkenny is stability and great leadership. I know I can bring both. The other candidates (Denis O'Sullivan and Conor Byrne) lack the commitment needed to become the leader our campus needs. I pride myself in giving everything 100 effort and in the case of becoming president I am willing to focus souly on us becoming great again."
Weldon then went on to describe what ideas he has in mind. "I would like to build a wall between Birchfield and digs so Birchfield can gain independence again. I believe we also need to confiscate phones within the campus premises as they are nothing but a distraction. I would also like to plan many adventures with the group to many places around Europe including a trip a month to Ireland's greatest town, Clonmel.
Weldon is a solid candidate who deserves a chance in the highest position of them all. To havee the best year possible you need the best president, and it's hard to look past this gem. Every vote for this man counts so don't hesitate to join TeamWeldon

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
