Defeated Democratic U.S. presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is considering the invitation of King Salman of Saudi Arabia to immigrate to the Middle Eastern Kingdom.
The surprise revelation is controversial because of Saudi Arabia's checkered human rights record and in particular their treatment of women and gays. As Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton made women’s rights a cornerstone of U.S. foreign policy.

In a recent poll by the Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies in Washington, 68 per cent of Saudi's preferred Hillary Clinton to U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. According to Julian Assange of Wikileaks, Clinton accepted millions of dollars via the Clinton Foundation from Saudi Arabia and Qatar often demanding payments of millions of dollars for access to her and her husband. Despite Clinton's apparent high popularity in Saudia Arabia in comparison to the United States, it is unclear at this point whether or not she will be required to reimburse these funds in light of her failed presidential bid.

Saudi women were previously forbidden from voting or being elected to political office, but in 2011 King Abdullah declared that women would be able to vote and run in the 2015 local elections, as well as be appointed to the Consultative Assembly. Clinton could legally run for office in Saudia Arabia if granted citizenship. She could also avoid extradition to the U.S. if she is indicted in the United States for her roll in the ongoing F.B.I. Clinton Foundation probe.

It has also been reported that the former New York senator is allegedly lobbying President Barack Obama heavily for pardons for herself and husband, former President Bill Clinton, and daughter, Chelsea Clinton. Once the status of the requested presidential pardons is known, a decision can be made with regard to Saudi Arabia.

Life in Saudi Arabia will also present many other challenges for Hillary Clinton.
The Kingdom does not allow women to drive but this is not an issue for the former U.S. Secretary of State since she has not driven a car since 1996. The only sticking point is Ms. Clinton's insistence that her Secret Service protection detail accompany her in addition to a customized armored SUV and newly assigned female chauffeur, Huma Abedin.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
