(News service, 11-25-2016), President-elect Donald Trump will grant a full pardon to Rafael Bienvenido Cruz, the father of Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) for his possible involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy. No further investigation will be conducted.

"The assassination of Kennedy was a long time ago," Trump spokesperson Kellyanne Conway said to the Associated Press. "Bygones should by bygones, also in the interest of peace within the party." At this late point in time, an investigation would not be successful.

Trump had accused Cuban-born Rafael Cruz, now an American citizen, of being involved in the JFK assassination that happened in November 1963 in Downtown Dallas, TX. Trump presented a picture showing Cruz next to Lee Harvey Oswald, the likely assassin (see below). Oswald was killed shortly after his arrest by New Orleans nightclub owner Jack Ruby.

Rafael Cruz is the father of Ted Cruz, a rival of Trump during the primaries. Cruz had refused to endorse Trump after he clinched the nomination in July 2016. He had cited Trump's accusations against his father as well as insults against his wife, Heidi Cruz. Cruz endorsed the candidate only weeks before the election, mostly to secure his own Senate seat. Trump's offer to grant a full pardon to Rafael Cruz is seen as a gesture of reconciliation.

The Kennedy assassination is still widely debated in the U.S. and has been the subject of many movies and TV shows. The Los Angeles Times had reported only recently that Oswald did not intend to kill Kennedy, but wanted to kill Texas then-Governor John Connally (D).

Exile Cubans were said to be involved in the JFK assassination in the 1960s already; mainly secret agents working for Cuban strongman Fidel Castro but also Castro-enemies. However, this has never been proven and Ted Cruz has strongly disputed Trump's accusations.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
