Woman charged on assault with a deadly weapon

Elizabeth Peterson, a 22 year old resident of Grover, North Carolina has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon. Earlier in the day, cops got an anonymous call about a dispute between Elizabeth and another woman, whose name is unknown. Police say she attacked the woman with the weapon and was arrested on site. Peterson says she attacked the woman because she was talking to her boyfriend in an inappropriate manner after he attempted to walk away from the woman and she proceeded to follow him. Elizabeth then pulled a pocket knife from her person and attempted to charge at the woman, and was held back by Jorge Rodriguez, her boyfriend. She is currently being held at the Cleveland County jail and bail will be posted on tuesday November 29th.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
