The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (aka DSM) has been around since the early 1950's, and has provided psychiatrists and mental health workers alike a guide for diagnosing the mentally ill. Although David Kupfer (the chair of the DSM-V task force) announced in 2013 that the most recent version of the DSM will not have an increased number of diagnoses, due to the removal of NOS (not otherwise specified) diagnoses have created room for new diagnoses, but what caught our attention was one labelled as "Liberal Entitlement Complex Syndrome" (LECS).

Some of the symptoms of LECS are as follows:

*Low testosterone (males only)
*Irrational fear of firearms and weapons alike
*Labeling of others who don't think alike (Ex. Misogynist, Racist, Xenophobe, etc...)
*Easily offended
*Intolerance of other's opinions
*Little to no actual knowledge of world history or economics

LECS patients tend to direct their anger and blame in the wrong direction and will live under the delusion that they are going to "make a change". For example, when a president they don't like is elected, instead of going through the electoral process we have in place, the LECS patient will group up with those alike and run out in traffic in attempt to protest (despite the fact that they state they live in voted for the opposite candidate), normally resulting in the LECS patient being run over by an unsuspecting motorist and hospitalized.

If you or anyone you know displays any of these symptoms, don't hesitate and call your local psychiatrist for an immediate psychological evaluation.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
