Kingston native and entrepreneur John Stote best known for his famous Basketball "The Rock" has closed a deal that he considers "greatest deal ever."
We caught up with John outside a Greenwich Village local bathhouse where he just finished an hour long sauna celebrating what he calls "making the deal of a lifetime! " "Wow, life is great, I just had an hour long sauna with some nice guys I never knew before until today and now we are all good friends."
John earlier in the day was at the Rainbow Auction (worlds largest LBGT auction) held in Manhattans Central Park. "I never miss the Rainbow Auction," Stote ecstatically stated, Ive done many things and been every place but this is the Pinnacle!
Stote noticed a toupee being auctioned that once belonged to Dick the Wig, Kingstons first admitted homosexual. Opening bid was $20 but Stote was determined not to miss out so he outbid everyone offering $1000.00 and immediately won!
"I cant believe I actually now own it! Dick never got the respect and honor he deserved. He was probably one of the bravest people I ever met! Me being a the eldest boy I really had no one to look up to as a child so Dick took me under his wing and showed me the ropes teaching me how to survive on the streets of Kingston in the 70's.
Its still surprising how old fashioned some people really are. Last week I actually wore it and walked into Joe Lalimas barbershop. I could not believe how disrespectful he was! Joe literally chased me out the door with a razor in his hand screaming to never come back!"
"Doesnt matter what people think, I know a true hero when I see one.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
