A 22 year old man from Exmouth found GUILTY of armed robbery from a vulnerable 82 year old woman

Lee Green (photographed) has today been found guilty at Exeter Crown Court of forced entry, trespassing and armed robbery on an 82 year old woman at her bungalow located on Dinan Way in Exmouth, East Devon. Mrs Willacot is a dementia victim and also suffers from regular panic attacks.

When Lee Green forced his way into the vulnerable ladies house at the early hours of January 16th he was accompanied with only a metal shank. The jury was told throughout the trial how he got in through the back window of the property which was left on it's latch overnight. He tied up Mrs Willacot with cable ties and left her in the shed in just her pyjamas which resulted in hypothermia for the poor, helpless victim. After Mr Green managed to ransack all the valuables and locate her vintage collectibles, it is understood the man attempted to escape on a yellow vespa, however taking a shortcut through the nearby lane Knapps Cross he lost control and swerved into a fence, where he layed unconscious until the police eventually caught the victim with all the items on him.

Sentencing is due to be heard on April 3rd 2017 and the judge has informed Mr Green to expect a length jail term.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
