For more than 3 decades the debate of who the best jam band in America has raged on intensely. Those boomers who come from a simpler time will make the claim that Jerry and the gang melodic tones and fan base was the culminating mark of the 60's and on american music. Then you have the group of children who bore witness the demise of popular music, from metalica and nirvana to the unfortunate acts of nicki minaj. To them phish was the only authentic experence of music. Trey and company have managed to take an established culture and transform it and bring it to a new generation. The torch has been passed but who holds it best? This question is about to be debated in the most prolific trial of the century.

Meet Benjamin Kreuter a young audacious lawyer who is putting everything on the line to defend his favourite band Phish. From the age of 13 Benjamin (who his friend calls Benjammin) has been kicking a groove to the musical styling of Trey Anastasio phish leading guitarist. Ben has always loved phish and hated law. so finally when he had a chance to defend his favourite band he told his zionest loving boss to go suck an egg. He threw his tie to the wind. tie dyed his white dress shirt and got on the journey to becoming the greatest lawyer every. In the future it turns out ben not only won the case for phish but even managed to find incriminating evidence on jimi hendrix's managers implication to the death. On April 26th 2017 Ben will be inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. This will be the first time a non-musician will be inducted. But he's just that cool says Dave Ghrol.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
