Executive Order Returns Santa Rosa Island Back To Feds

In a stunting and little publicized act, President Trump has signed Executive Order 3612308, "Protection of Santa Rosa Island". The Executive Order will return all Santa Rosa Island land currently being administered by Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties between Fort Pickens and Eglin Air Base Range to the U.S. Department of Interior.

When asked for comment Press Secretary Sean Spicer made the following statement: President Trump is a strong believer of what made the country great was Teddy Roosevelt's strong business ethics and strong conservation preservation effort to protect public land for all American's to enjoy and have for future generations. Spicer is quoted as saying "We are not about to let a couple of Santa Rosa county choda boys wreck this country we are trying to make great again."

He would not elaborate on such issues as people who live on the island under 99 years leases. However, a unnamed White House source stated the Trump was heard saying "Fuck'em they are leasees not owners, and the constitution protects property owners."

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
