Local Chicago band "Hanging Death" has gone from straight to top to straight to the bottom of their grave, at least it seems for the local Chicago scene. This in light of various accusations regarding the predator behavior of their lead vocalist and front man as well as some of their members.

One of the stories began with their former drummer who allegedly raped an underage 14 year old, this should not be any surprise as it reflects the troubling issues that come when band members try to use their name to take advantage of young girls in order to satisfy their predatory needs. It is specially troubling when victims of these abusers associate their local scene with sexual harassment and they no longer bother to come to local events due to fear. Take note that is just one of the occasions where the band showed their true colors which in turn lead to their turmoil.

Hanging Death also reportedly had signed a 3 album deal with the notorious "Metal Blade Records" this in fact turned out to be hoax fabricated in order to gain some sort of credibility among the Chicago metal scene, who by now has most more than likely barred them for life not to mention they were dropped from the Texas Toast kick off tour show. It's one thing to know you might have a deal but lying about getting a record deal is simply mockery to all the musicians who passionately work on their music.

We can not let this band tarnish this local community, we will rise above the predatory behavior of these people and clean out the scum.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
