As play concluded on Saturday, the leaders consummated their destiny. After a dismal 15th the team of Crawford and Ortiz rallied to drop birdie bombs to secure a spot in the playoff with the surprise team of Moore and Schiff. Moore/Schiff both hit drives in the fairway on the par 5 15th as Crawford/Ortiz only had one in play and it was in the hazard near the pond right. The team of Moore and Schiff, both in prime position after the second shots, were ready to celebrate their first green jackets. But wait, Crawford and Ortiz had something to say about that. After Ortiz hit is 3rd shot to 220 out then hit his 4th to 30 feet and drained it it put the pressure on the Moore/Schiff team. Crawford pushed his 3rd shot to the right of the green and hit a gem to 6ft. Once Moore drained his pit for net par it was up Crawford, who his close friends call Moose, to pull off the unthinkable. And he did it. After the round the runner ups declined comment. CNN correspondent, Grant Faucheux, interviewed a very arrogant and confident Crawford. "Yeah man I knew it was in the bag. We were the team to beat. I've been here before. I love men, I really love this guy though. When I won with JP, I thought, he's hot. But Bruz, damn that guy gets my blood boiling." David "Hooch" Hymel caught up to a once again tearful Ortiz and asked him how does it feel to win your first major? Ortiz's response, "no habla englis y espanol...next year's masters meal will be good...yo qiero Taco Bell."

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
