McKinney - Two 18-year-old boys have been arrested for the rape of a woman in mckinney, Texas, near Mckinney North High School

Meanwhile, police are still looking for a third person they believe is also responsible for the attack and believe he was armed at the time.

It was surveillance video taken from a Local business(Raising Canes) and help from an alert member of the public that led Mckinney police to the identity of the teens seen in the video. Investigators say the forensic evidence from the 18-year-olds connected him to the victim of a sexual assault.

“A search warrant was obtained for the DNA,” explained Mckinney Police Major Jimmy Vaughn. “It was executed on that individual at which time yesterday, April 12, we were notified that the DNA profile came back as a match.”

Police say the victim came face-to-face with the duo on April 7 as she left work just before 3 a.m. and walked to meet some friends. The teens allegedly sexually assaulted her in a secluded area off University Blvd. at gunpoint.

Since the unsettling attack, MPD added extra patrols to the popular nightspot. McKinney police are eager to locate the other suspect still at large and are asking the same public who helped them identify the first suspect to take another good look at the second suspect.

“As you can see, he's wearing a shirt with what our best guess is a resemblance to Marilyn Monroe,” Vaughn said.

Detectives haven’t had a chance to interview the 18-year-olds who is in custody and are unsure if he's willing to cooperate and reveal who the other guy is.

Anyone with information is asked to call McKinney police.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
