Cubicle life isn't a grand life! These were popular in the 60's, why are we still happy to be a part of this business model?!?
Working to pay bills, and MAYBE you will make enough to take a vacation, which you must first request the time off for.
So, I went on a job interview today! When the interviewer asked me what I wanted for compensation, I replied:
1. First, I would like 25-35 commission on everything I sell.?
2. I want to earn a few company gift cards to use, as I please, just for starting my business off strong.?
3. I would want the ability to earn all-expense paid trips for a job well done. Not just the vacation time, but the actual vacation itself!
4. I would also like the opportunity to purchase my own products at a great discount.
5.I expect you to provide me with the very best training, website, and staff support.?
6. When I bring in and train any new team members, I deserve to earn a percentage of their sales & the sales of their teams that they build.
7. I would like the opportunity to rapidly advance within the company and receive lavish gifts and cash bonuses just for doing so.
?8. When I do well, I expect LOTS of praise and recognition from not just our team and you, but also from the founders of the company.
?9. I would like my family and friends to work here and receive the exact same compensation and benefits as me.?
10. By the way, I need to set my own schedule & work only when it suits me and my family.
So…When can I start?
After the manager recovered from shock, he ROARED with laughter, “You can’t be serious?! You’re dreamin’! You’ll never find an opportunity like that ANYWHERE! And, if you do, come back and get me because I want to work with YOU!”
So I gave him MY business card! I LOVE my job!?

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
