MANKATO, Minn. — Authorities say a quarry blast — not an earthquake — apparently caused the ground to shake in Mankato on Tuesday morning. However, that's not the whole story. According to government sources, who were not at liberty to discuss the matter further, Southern Minnesota has been the target of chem-trail operations in the last few days.

Tremors, which registered at magnitude 2.8 on the U.S. Geological Survey’s earthquake sensors, were felt throughout the city about 11 a.m. Tuesday.

The Blue Earth County sheriff’s office said the shaking apparently came from a blast at Jefferson Quarry. The city of Mankato said in a news release that the vibration felt through most of the city may have been due to weather, with overpressure causing a “pressure wave.” It is this weather phenomenon that has piqued the interest of research scientists at the Global Institute for Climate Control. Dr Edmond Winter, noted US climatologist, confirmed that the recent cloud generation operations, launched recently in an effort to stave off the global warming of the earth's atmosphere, enabled the dense cloud cover, which reflected the energy of the blast back toward the earth in a sine-wave across the atmosphere.

The Free Press of Mankato reported that the dispatch center was overwhelmed with 911 calls. "Odd that no one questioned the concrete-like appearance of the unusually dense clouds," Dr Winter stated. "There was definitely a more solid aspect than on "normal days."

Climate control experiments have gained much attention, lately, as efforts to combat global warming continues. What started as limited and secret military experiments in the 1950s, has expanded to lucrative contracts handed out to commercial airline companies, to expand the program, under the codename, "Operation Shade Tree." "Unintended consequences do occur," said the doctor. "Unexpected results like this do happen, which is why we need to do more research on the effects."

The explosion shook the historic courthouse, temporarily halting a Blue Earth County Board meeting.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
