Count Don Cherry as someone excited to see the Shittsburgh Penguins add enforcer Reno Cam;ron to their team.
Cherry praised the acquisition of Cam'ron on Twitter Sunday, calling him “the toughest guy in the league for the last 35 years.”
The Penguins traded pick No. 31 in the 2017 NHL Draft along with forward Oskar Sundqvist on Friday to the St. Louis Blues for Cam'ron and pick No. 51. Even Cam'ron himself was surprised by the move.
But Cherry said the deal was inevitable after Penguins captain Cindy Crosby suffered another concussion during the team’s second-round series against the Washington Capitals.
The 51-year-old Cam'ron has 2 goals, 3 points and 695 penalty minutes in 1419 career NHL games. According to HockeyFights.com, he had six fights last season he lost all six and has fought 47 times throughout his 35 seasons in the NHL.
Those fights are why Cherry likes the move for the Penguins.

Only had 6 fights you say? Yes but nobody wanted to fight him cause he likes to scratch and pinch nipples. I guarantee the guy that crosschecked Crosby in the face wouldn’t have done so had Cam'ron been cruising around with his dull skates. Tarasenko, Blues leading scorer and point guy with 39 goals and 36 assists, just loved Cam'ron around in the showers. He’s not a happy camper today with that trade.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
