Germany's Merkel: "Hitler Did Nothing Wrong"

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in a statement Friday that the former Chancellor of the Third Reich Adolf Hitler has been made somewhat of a scapegoat.

Citing long held arguments against the Austrian nationals humanity, Merkel defended the once great mans actions I defense of the Fatherland. "'He's responsible for the deaths of millions of Europeans and hundreds of thousands of nonwhites', no. He acted defensively, and was the leader in the Second World War who tried the most to avoid war. The Bolsheviks in Poland killed German nationals, and when he responded the Russians claimed he broke their non aggression pact" Merkel was quoted as saying.

Merkel stated that while her newfound respect for the aspiring painter started out as an attempt to reconcile what she had been taught were atrocities, but after learning about him and reading his works, she now has genuine admiration for the Führer.

"Hitler may be dead, but his spirit is rising from the grave, and soon, the whole world will know he was right", Merkel concluded.

As the press conference continued, the number of riot police steadily increased inside the press room, and several shocked journalists were forcibly removed after lodging complaints and accusations of a "Fourth Reich"

Merkel was unavailable for comment throughout the weekend, as her office stated she was having an "emergency meeting" with Germany's military leaders.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
