A Local Lincoln County resident is 100,000 dollars richer this morning after scratching a very lucky 10$ lottery ticket purchased from a Shell station in Stanford Ky. According to Local buisness owners Rob and Shelly Bignose the ticket was purchased just a little past 8am. The news of the winning ticket immediately went viral withing a few short moments after the ecstatic purchaser Jessica Breckenridge of Mckinney Ky return to the store to confirm the ticket as a winner. "It was almost as if a tornado hit" Rob Bignose exclaimed. We never seen anything like it in our entire lives. Candy bars were flying through the air! At one point the customer was seen doing the waltz with the stores mop and bucket. When asked what she was planning to do with the winnings she "Squinted" with a smirky grin and simply muttered the words "FIJI" and then ran from the store like a mad woman Bignose added. Were not exactly sure on Jessica's whereabouts now. We can only imagine she is sitting somewhere on a beach sipping somthing strong. Bignose told the local Inquirer, but we hope that she's aware of the 50.00$ in gas she forgot to pay for and the damages sustained to the gas pump that were caused by her urgent exiting. She left the store train wrecked, but since Jessica's big win there has been a surge in lottery ticket sales in Stanford Ky as well as the local surrounding area's. All hoping to score there big win. This was the stores first major lottery winning since its opening in 2002.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
