Back in 1997, P. Diddy had plans to release a trilogy of songs containing samples of classic songs however at that time, only two saw the light of day with the third being shelved for no reason. The two released at the time were I'll be missing you which was a tribute to their deceased friend, Notorious B.I.G which was based upon a reworked hip hop version of The Police's 1984 smash Every breath you take (which was reworked specifically for this song) and even features Sting's closing vocals sampled toward the end of the song. The other was Mo Money Mo Problems which was based off a sample of Diana Ross's 1980 hit I'm coming out and even featured Diana Ross herself (through a sample) singing I'm coming out throughout the song. The plans for the trilogy were for each song to feature P. Diddy and two musicians credited as featured artists. A female vocalist was also used on the two tracks as well. I'll be missing you is credited to P. Diddy, 112 and Faith Evans. Mo Money Mo Problems was credited to Notorious B.I.G, P. Diddy and Mase, all male musicians which presented a problem as the rules for the trilogy stated that each song feature P. Diddy plus a male and a female artist providing lead vocals as well but when they realized this mistake, they didn't want to mess with Mase's work so they decided to expand upon the songs origins in Diana Ross's 1980 hit I'm coming out and sample her line of I'm coming out which is how the popular line is heard throughout the song (It was not supposed to be originally featured, only the instrumentation of I'm coming out). The third song in the trilogy is called Blinded and as with the previous two, features a sample of a classic song and also the line up of P. Diddy, a male vocalist and a female vocalist. The song sampled here is Manfred Mann's Earthband's version of Bruce Soringsteen's Blinded By The Light with the vocals being recorded around the background instrumentation of the song. The two guests featured on the song are Will.I.Am and Fergie, both from the popular hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas. The song is being released on an EP titled "After 20 years, the trilogy is finally complete!" which will also feature I'll be missing you and Mo Money Mo Problems. The EP will be released in cd form and also cassette form with the cassette only working in a 1986 Pontiac LeMans and a 2015 Ford Fusion. There are rumors going around that it may work in a 2003 face lifted Chevrolet Express but we'll see. To see if your 2003 Chevrolet Express is one of the face lifted ones, check the grill. If the grill is straight, it's the pre-face lifted version, if it's in the shape of a smiling face :) , then you have the face listed version and that it might work. There are also rumors going around that the cd may only work in a 1920's Bell+Howell brand AM/FM/CD player but we'll see on that one. To say the least, I am very excited that the third song is finally being released after being shelved for no reason.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
