Journey back through the years to 1957. Eisenhower was the President of the United States, Chevrolet was producing arguably, the most sought after car in automotive history, Russia launched Sputnik, Little Richard and Elvis dominated the radio, Perry Mason came on the TV, while children played with Slinkys and Hula Hoops. In October of that same year, in a quaint little hospital in Westchester County, New York, a man-child was born.
This child would relocate to Northeastern Pa., where he would grow into a strapping young man. He would attend elementary school in Green Ridge, Junior High at North, and graduate from T.H.S., class of '75 (which, by the way is one of very few with the same numerals of the birth year reversed!)
He would relocate again to the Tampa Bay area, and begin a career with the local Sheriff's Department, spending the following 25 years in jail, before retiring.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Now you can attend a party to celebrate 60 years of this now grown, man-child being here on Earth.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, October 14th, 2017 at F.O.P. Lodge 43, in Largo, Fl.
There will be a variety of food, masterfully prepared by Mike Whitehouse; entertainment will be provided by 'Jelvis', there will be beverages, both adult and not, and of course, a group of great people to mingle with.
As stated in the title above; "Your Presence is Requested; Your Presents Are Not !!!!" There will be NO fee to attend, other than your willingness to celebrate and have a good time.
===I do ask that you let me know if you will be attending so we know how much food should be prepared.===

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
