Earlier this afternoon, Vermont Legislature was called in for an emergency hearing per request of Senator Bernie Sanders. The ongoing efforts of conservation and protection of Vermont's Fish and Wildlife was on the venue.
Sanders had made the claim that Auto Detailing shops were a surprisingly high cause of the pollutants of the grounds and drinking water throughout the State. "The Automotive Detailing shops in Southern Vermont are the most dangerous to our natural resources because the Otter Creek flows to the North from the South, this means that it is the shops in the south that are destroying the preservation and beauty of this State" Sanders said. When asked to how it is the Automotive Detail industry is contributing to the declination of Vermont's resources, Sanders replied "They [automotive detail stations] are purposefully allowing dirt to fall off of these vehicles and accumulate onto the ground. In the process of nature, that dirt, which is dirty, gets onto the clean ground and causes the clean dirt to be dirty. Eventually, the Otter Creek picks up some of this dirt and redeposits it without cleaning it, making Otter Creek even dirtier."
By the end of the Legislation meeting the votes were tied as to whether or not Automotive Detailing Facilities would be allowed to remain in Southern Vermont. Ongoing discussions will commence tomorrow morning in an attempt to pass this Bill.
A spokesperson for the Vermont's Agency of Natural Resources was approached for an interview on this matter however they declined to comment.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
