Under the tutelage of Shannon Hopkins, Yakima Valley College English 102 has mastered the art of differentiating what is real and what is fake. Hopkins, who has a Masters Degree in English literature, has diligently worked to create a class of “super students” able to thoroughly decipher the truth. Upon hearing about this President Donald Trump turned to the class in order the stop the barrage of fake media that has plagued his first 10 months in office: “The fake news is becoming more and more dishonest!”

President Trump swiftly moved to staff the English 102 class, creating a new position in office. This “Truth Seeking Task Force” will work directly under Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders in order to stop fake news outlets such a CNN, Fox, and others that have been harassing President Trump.

Upon hearing the news of the new position there was a divide in the class as some were thrilled to be able to work for the white house and others were firmly against President Trump, his policies, and who he is as a person. Super student Jane Anonymous was one that was not thrilled “I don’t want to work for someone who has a complete disregard for women, but I don’t see this as a complete waste of time. We will use our ability to find the truth to expose him for who he really is.”

The task force is scheduled to begin as soon as the class finishes watching a series of Hopkins’ 20 minute videos

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
