YVC Instructor Shannon Hopkins English 102 Video Goes Viral, And You Won't Believe Why

At Yakima Valley Community College there is a college professor who has given her students a gift like no other instructor. Shannon Hopkins is no ordinary professor, and she proves that in a recent video she uploaded in her annoucments October 9, 2017 "English 102 : Early End to the Semester for my Best Class Yet".

For her favorite online English 102 class she is passing them all with an A. She doesn't just stop there though. They are done for the Semester. All the work they have been putting in, all their involvement. Hopkins is blown away with how "astute" they are. She comments in her video about how much she is "loving the engagement", she goes on about how great their questions are and mentions that she is "glad to be a part of this" (00:01:36).

Efective Friday, October 13, 2017 these students are done. These students had an assignment due this week on fake news that they have all been working so hard on that some of them almost missed the video. It didn't take long before the word spread. Now the video has gone viral receiving more than 600M views in just two days.

For those of you who like to watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show, be on the look out. Rumor has it Shannon Hopkins and her amazing English class is going to be making their big debut October 13, 2017.

That's right! You heard it. Tune into NBC this Friday at 3:00PM. She has flown the entire class and Hopkins out to California, so the world is going to get to meet these amazing students and their incredibly generous instructor. If only we all had an instructor like the amazing Shannon Hopkins.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
