Ayr "pebbles" dubbed drink and drug den for youths by local council

A pebbled area along the banks of the river Ayr has recently been called " a drink and drug den" for the towns teens

A number of Dog walkers have said " every Friday and Saturday night I walk past and there's always a group of youths with loud music drinking and taking drugs, it's not what you want to see when out a quiet walk in the woods" , police say they are aware of the situation and that they are " monitoring it for the time being and will step in if things get any worse"

" I was walking my dogs and looked down into the pebbles and saw bottles of buckfast tonic wine , echoe falls wine and mad dog 20 20 wine being smashed homemade fires being lit a boy strip naked and run into the water and a handful of other anti social behaviour issues" another eyewitness has stated.

It is understood that the gang hang out there until dark which then they move to the new Ayr academy campus to continue there anti social behaviour and vandalism

It is also understood that known troublemaker and "bam" Jamie hooper,18 who has been said to " jump into the shop for alcohol" for his group of underage buddies

The group are thought to gather at the craigie skatepark or otherwise known as "the shitepark" when they are not at the river Ayr side sesh area

As well as alchohol the group have also been known to be involved in an array of class b and class c drugs such as cannabis, cocaine ,mdma and psychedelics like acid and magic mushrooms

The young team are thought to take advantage of the surroundings around the pebbles as it is described as " out of the way" and " non jailbait" but police would like to re assure the teens with a message they would like to put out on social media that reads " do not think we don't know what is happening, we are aware and are in talks with the comunity safety officers to team up and attempt to "crack down on the anti social behaviour followed out by this group"

    whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
