Clown Terrorizes Local College Campus on Halloween

On Halloween, a man in a clown costume, rampaged through the College of San Mateo Halloween Festival sponsored by Associated Students. "It was terrifying, I mean like Penny Wise, terrifying" one student said to a reporter who responded to the scene. No one was hurt in the incident.

The incident began at approximately 11:37 am Pacific time, when the clown ran across campus to the scene of the outdoor event sponsored by a student group. The man grabbed several individuals, one after the other in short succession, and screamed loudly that killer clowns from outer space would be taking over campus at tomorrow's event. Student athletes intervened to prevent the clown from harassing more revelers at the event.

Campus security responded to the scene and apprehended the man dressed as a clown. Head of public safety for the CSM campus, Chief Michael Claire, said he didn't expect tomorrow's Halloween event to be threatened by killer clowns from outer space. The event will proceed as planned, though additional security will be on site.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
