Former Long Branch Resident Donates Lottery Winnings

Dwayne Logan recently won $20,000 in the Baltimore's Lottery and donated every penny to football teams in Long Branch,New Jersey. Logan felt that select charities needed the money more than he. After deciding to give away the winnings, the only question left was regarding where the money should go.
After some deliberation, Logan decided to donate the full amount to the City of Long Branch football team. This was his way of helping young boys that strive to make Long Branch a better place via sports.
“I was heavily influenced by my past with sports in the city and by Eric Platts my childhood friend, who taught me to think of others first, and to stop and think about what life is really about. I know the needs in the community are great right now, so for me it was the right thing to do,” Logan said in an interview.

The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
