DeAnthony Wills, a 28-year-old black man, was shot and killed Sunday, Feb 20th in the 2600 block of Lantana Street in Compton, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s records.

Wills, a resident of Lynwood was visiting friends in the neighborhood about 6 p.m. when he got into an argument with a man in the middle of the street the argument was about Mr.Willis not "reppin his set" and disrespecting his friends house ,it seems as Willis was urinating in De Haros friends yard , said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Joe Mendoza.

The other man pulled out a gun and began shooting at Wills, Willis got on a bike and started to flee minutes after he collapsed Mendoza said. The shooter, a Mexican man in his teens, he shot at him again after he fell off the bike then got into a white sedan and drove away, heading east on Lantana and north on Wadsworth Avenue, until he was out of view, Mendoza said.

Wills was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:42 p.m., according to coroner’s records.

“DeAnthony was a loving father, son and brother,” said his obituary in The Times. “His life was taken over senseless violence. This has left his family and friends heartbroken and demanding answers.”

An online fundraising account has been set up to help Wills’ family with expenses. On the site, his cousin Rictera King posted several photos of a smiling Wills hugging his two young children.

Wills was “kind, caring, charming, with a charismatic smile,” King wrote. “He cared about trying to help others and becoming a better person for his children. He was extremely passionate about family, his children and life.

RENE DE HARO has been identified as the shooter and killer of DeAnthony Willis with the help of De Haros gang member friend he was offered a plea deal of 5 years ,he remains anonymous.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
