A number of garda units were called to a Kilkenny City centre pub last night .. to break up what a garda source described as an " All Out Bitch Brawl " ...
Its believed around 20 members of a certain Carlow/Kilkenny constituency political party had gathered in the pub to discuss their upcoming christmas party ... Their christmas party will be held next saturday night on the same licensed premises .
And according to garda sources ... The meeting seemed to be going fine until it was discovered that over half of the constituency party's 'Christmas Drinking Fund' was missing !
It seems that members of this political party from Kilkenny then accused their Carlow comrades of drinking the missing funds/monies "on the sly .."
And then members of the same political party from Carlow made likewise allegations against their Kilkenny comrades ..
It then seems that an all out " Bitch Brawl " then ensued ..
Gardai managed to restore order in the public house and there were no reports of any major injuries , Although one innocent by-stander received superficial injuries when they were struck by a flying handbag ...
Gardai refused to disclose the location of the licensed premises or the political party involved..
But one garda source finished by sarcastically saying " Tiocfaidh Ar La ... Comrades ... And Merry Christmas Everyone ..."

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
