Recent reports have been pouring in about a class of English 102 students from Yakima Valley College being taken away by aliens. These experiences told by students are nothing like the movies folks.
The abduction occurred on January 23, 2018 at around 10:45 A.M. All the students were participating in class when all of a sudden a bright light came shining down into the room, creating a sense of blindness to the students. Many tried to escape, but could not run away from the grip of the foreign figures. After being sucked into the space ship, one student questioned, "Why us?" As the aliens secured the mother ship, they said in unison, "We have a mission for you." Confused, the class sat in silence thinking of all the possibilities.
Finally, after months of flying in alien time, the entire class was told of their mission. The aliens showed them how to cure cancer. Although, the aliens didn't just tell them, they injected the students' brains with a chemical that would make their minds permanently remember the exact treatment plan. Students still have the scar on their heads to prove this amazing journey.
A cure to cancer is now readily available to all people; all thanks to Professor Hopkin's Hybrid English 102 class at Yakima Valley College. Because of their success, the students are all billion-aires and have decided to fix the wealth disparity in the United States with their money.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
