Wapato High School Completely Empty Shocks Teachers

Usually Senior Skip days are for Seniors only but not this year in Wapato. The Class of 2018 at Wapato High School decided they wanted to include the entire school in their skip day as a bit of a senior prank as well. While Wapato is a smaller school it still has around 800 students so making sure everyone knew the plan was not small feat. The seniors started coordinating this at the beginning of the month and made sure everyone knew of the plan at the start of last week. Everyone was responsible for letting everyone they knew about the plan so come that Friday that halls were empty (as shown in the picture). The teachers had no idea of their plan and showed up Friday morning with their lessons prepared. They were immediately suspicious when the buses arrived at the school with no students. They all called a meeting to see if anyone had heard anything. They called some parents out of worry and found out all the students skipped. Some teachers left early and others used the time to catch up on grading and other tasks. As for the students the different friend groups all went their own ways to make the most of their day off. The seniors were very proud of their achievement in managing to get the whole school to work together and pull off this prank.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
