After a tough loss against Mount Carmel (1), Solorio is still a team who made it to extra time against Mt.Carmel. A shocking loss that has left everyone in the stands upset. Solorios hot 4 win streak has ended with a 0-1 loss. Mt.Carmel has never had big rivalry since 2012 who was BrotherRice. The reason this game was a big entertainment wasn’t just because it was advancing to the State finals but their biggest player Andy. He played for Mt.Carmel in 2014 and was a start player for the Varsity team. “Having really close friends on the opponents team did make it more eager for me to win,” Andy stated. “He is an amazing talented player, but sometimes as players we have to be selfish and thats something strong about him,” Godinez Coach (MC) said. Andy has several scholarships all over the state. Ranked 35 in Illinois and 88 Nationally and has 7 goals on his name all of his stats makes him look like a good player who you dont see much for defenders. Calleros clarifies that Andy is the heart of the team and won’t know how to make a strong team without his attitude next year. “I am so happy I had the privilege to coach him at such as a young age and now he has a bright future through rough paths there’s always good out there for him,” Andy is not just a player but is a team player. Indiana State University of Bloomington has offer Andy a full ride which they don’t give out to any student. Andy has a 3.2 GPA and a 21 ACT Score having your school work aside is a big accomplishment as ISUB described it.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
