During World War Two, rumours swirled about any number of strange projects the Nazis might have been up to. One of the most popular is the Antartic base, many believe that this facility was set up in order to store some of the 378 million dollars worth of European art, however much of this art was burned such as on 20 March 1939 when 1,004 paintings and sculptures and 3,825 watercolours, drawings and prints where set alight in the courtyard of the Berlin Fire Department.

One of the lesser known projects of the Nazi's however, was genetics division's plan to genetically engineer bees. Although to most people today, this idea seems ridiculous, it was, in fact, one of the Nazi scientific units main and, in their opinion one with the most headway.

The initial idea started in the June of 1937 by chief scientist Dr Albert Fuhrmann. When tasked with finding and producing a cheap and efficient weapon of mass destruction, the initial idea was to engineer a way for mustard gas to be mass deployed at a micro level so that it would be undetectable to the allied forces. However, this idea became evident that it was either going to be extremely expensive, or the devices would be too cumbersome for a stealth release.

Hitler at this point was putting a lot of pressure on Fuhrmann to have a lead on the new weapon as there was an increasing chance that to move forward in Hitler's plan that war was becoming inevitable. It was at this point that

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
