Newport Ky , A local man was doing a semmingly normal grocery trip when his luck suddenly changed . 62 year old Edwin Moore was getting out of his vehicle and proceeding to get a cart when he reached in his pocket and realized he had forgotten his wallet at home . Moore lived a bit of a drive from the local Kroger and his vision is diminishing so he knew he would have to get in his car and give his eyes a rest before making the long trip back home. “ I was so frustrated “ Moore stated “the older I get the more I forget “ but that was when Moore’s luck had changed from bad to good. “ I was sitting in my car takin a rest when I seen something green in the parking space in my rear view mirror “ moore proceeded to get out of his car and see if it was his money he was seeing , had his cash fallen out of his pocket ? Did he not forget after all? “ I thought maybe I had dropped my money so I figured I’d go check an see if I was seeing right” says Moore . When Moore walked over to investigate he seen exactly what he had thought a wad of money four times as much as he had forgotten at the house for his grocery run. “ when I first walked up to it I couldn’t believe my eyes I thought they where playing tricks on me until I picked it up and there it was “ Moore had found close to 800$ cash in Kroger parking lot ! What he did next just shows that we still have good people in this world! “ I went to the help desk and asked if anyone had reported loosing money and the lady told me that no one had so far so I gave her my number in case they called “ as days went by and no one claimed the money Moore decided he would share his luck with others by donating the entire amount to children’s hospital Thursday afternoon. “It felt really good to give back , I figured whoever lost the money didn’t know where to start to look so I figured donating it to others would be the best option “
A truly remarkable story and example of just how good people can still be !

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
