Over the course of the last year, several students have disappeared from Yakima Valley Community College. Over the last eight months, 26 students from various backgrounds have gone missing. The single link between all of these students is one class. English 102 with Shannon Hopkins seems to be the only connection between the 26 missing young adults. As each month passes more students vanish.

The police have no leads to the whereabouts of the missing students and suspect a predator has taken these people. While targeting one particular class offered through the college, the predator has made zero contact with the instructor which leads police to believe the actual predator is Hopkins herself. The theory is Hopkins is seeking high proficiency from her students and is getting rid of the below average students.

Hopkins is the owner of a local pig farm which is ideal for disposing bodies. As no physical evidence has pointed to Hopkins, she has shown no remorse from the disappearances and is satisfied with the results of her high performing classes. On April 15th Hopkins asserts, "My only concern here is the well-being of my students. The missing people simply did not have the drive and determination to succeed in my class and in turn life itself. Whatever their fate, I am focusing on the students that remain." For all students with drive, you will be welcome in in English 102 at Yakima Valley Community College, and for those who do not, may never be seen again.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
