On April 25 a massive fight broke out in the middle of the class. It involved about 18 people. Some where adults, others kids. There were several injured but others escaped unharmed. It seemed that it was a sort of "team fight" the left side of the class versus the right. The teacher, being the person in the middle had to choose a side, she picked the side who she clearly saw was going to win, the Left.

Some students in the class who were interviewed said it all stated over a debate about who should have really been the "super student", this seems to be very valued among the students of this class. The left side of the class all thought it should have been the person who initially got it which was a student named Austen, the right side said it should have been John Doe. This is when the class turned into a war zone.

We have an eye witnesses that said they saw the teacher actually jump in on the fight. Others said that they ran as soon as the fight broke out but many stayed to fight. One student who did not want to be maned said "It was crazy man, i hid in a corner as soon as everything broke out. At first it was alright but when i saw the teacher jump in, i just lost it and had to get out." clearly a very traumatizing event for some of these poor students at YVC.

The worst part is that there were some running start students in the class, who are students who are still in high school but are part time college students and other students in the class were adults. So as of now 3 of the minors have decided to press charges. Things are still trying to be figured out, about who really hit who.

Although this was a traumatizing event for everyone involved, some students did escape unharmed. Those who were, only had minor injuries. But at the end of the day everyone got to go home. Also Austen ended up keeping the "Super Student" tittle.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
