Three members of the hard rock group Leather Pistol, along with the pilot, died early this morning in a plane crash in Colorado. The band had been in California meeting with executives from Netflix about an upcoming Leather Pistol biopic. Johnny J. Licksteen, Trixxie Gunz, and J.J. Rockett all perished in the accident. Lead singer Vince Venus and keyboardist Nikolai Blades were the only survivors. CNN reporter Barry McKochinner was on the scene and spoke with a visibly shaken Vince Venus. "It was horrible" said Vince. "Trixxie was in the bathroom huffing a mixture of Zippo lighter fluid and Clorox lemon scented bleach, when the cabin became filled with toxic fumes. The pilot was overcome by the fumes, passed out, and we started descending rapidly! There was only two parachutes, and I already had one of them on. Nikolai grabbed the other, and I opened the door and we jumped. Next thing I know, I hear a loud crash, and see a huge fireball!" Nikolai Blades added that "Trixxie always been a junk nose. He never visit a good decision. Vince always makes good decision. I'm for to following Vince. Sorry to the world about the charred bodies comrades. I'll be and raise to vodka in remember swollen camel. Bless." An eyewitness said he saw Licksteen jump from the plane moments before the crash. "I saw him jump out. He had a backpack on, and was frantically trying to open it. When it opened, a number of syringes flew out of the backpack. I saw his body hit the ground, and the syringes all stuck into him!" When asked about the backpack, Vince replied "Johnny must have mistaken it for a parachute. He looked like a giant pincushion lying there. Such a waste. I mean, that was at least $600 worth of needles!" Vince Venus (whose real name is Scott Smith), will be teaming up with NIkolai Blades (Andy Gaines) to form an acoustic band (Smith Gaines) along with Andy's wife Amy.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
