Back in 1975 and the glory days of Disco Lou Gabrielson teamed up with a group of scientists to create a ten-month study of the benefits of eating pizza three times a day.. The blind study consisted of 20 people of which ten would be fed pizza three times a day for a month while the other ten would be fed vegetables without knowing. The results of the study showed that the ten who were fed the pizza not only lost weight but at the end of the one month had special abilities and were able to run faster, jump higher and their eyesight was greatly improved. The doctors named this the "Six Million Dollar Man" effect. Also, the study showed that those who had double cheese slices were also able to sing Italian love songs incredibly well.
Since 1975 when the results of the study were first published millions of people have flocked to Mikes pizza in Amityville in hopes of achieving the same results. Last week it was found that one man in the study known only as "John Doe" now weighed over 350 pounds and wears glasses.
An investigation found that not only were some results tainted because some of the pizza had pineapple on them but 11 of the men in the study were found to not even be Italian.
When questioned about this Mr.Gabrielson admitted it was all just a hoax and when asked why did he do it he just stated: "I like pizza".

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
