Ben Dover worked at PETA for 4 months last year, and he says that the practices there go deeper than we’d thought.

In the past, PETA has been exposed for euthanizing almost all of the animals they take in, but because of a dark secret revealed by Ben recently, they could be in bigger trouble than ever before.

We were contacted by Ben just days after he left PETA. He told us he might have a story that would enrage the country, and hopefully bring more people against PETA. We sent a team down to his house and interviewed him, which you can watch on our website.

He shows us a picture of two pitbulls. One of the dogs was named Rocky, (right) and the other was named Puma. (left) They had been abandoned by their owners just weeks apart. PETA discovered Puma on the side of Union Road near Grapeseed, followed closely by Rocky. The two were taken in and formed a close bond.

Then, PETA euthanized both of them. For PETA, this is a normal practice and just a part of the job. But Ben says they weren’t euthanized because PETA ran out of room for them. (the most common reason PETA euthanizes animals) Ben reveals that not only did PETA put down Rocky and Puma because they were pitbulls, but they were put down because they were gay.

Ben says he would often walk by their cage and see them having sexy-time with each other. He didn’t mind it, but says his colleagues were disgusted. His colleagues went to the higher ups, and complained that the “vicious” dogs were “severely aggressive” and had to be euthanized.

Ben was appalled that said higher ranks agreed, and made negative comments focusing on the dogs’ sexualities.

They were killed for being gay pitbulls. We, and Ben, hope this story will encourage people to stand up to PETA, by revealing them as not only racist against pitbulls, but homophobic.

whale spotted in illinois river A humpback whale was spotted near Morris IL in the Illinois River today. The sighting comes just days after 2 Great White Sharks were seen frolicking in the same area. While not impossible, it does seem unlikely. It is thought that the whale may have followed the sharks as they sometimes do in the wild. The whale would of had to travel over 1250 miles to get to this location. The Marine Biologist Association will be in town for a full investigation. Until we have answers, we are asking folks to keep their pontoons and fishing boats docked.

two great white sharks found swimming in mississippi river near saint louis, missouri. While it is not entirely impossible, it is incredibly uncommon for salt water dwelling creatures to stay for lengthy periods of time in fresh water. However, two Great White Sharks have managed to survive the trip and make their way up the Mississippi River somehow. Believed to have started as a mating couple, the two are assumed to have swam the 920 mile journey from the mouth of the Mississippi River that is connected to the Gulf Of Mexico. Officials in Saint Louis have contacted the Missouri Conservation Department and will likely have a team in the river soon to capture the two lost sharks.
